From the first breath of spring to the last dying day of autumn, there is a flower that blooms. A blood-red flower with black throats and black-tipped petals, that is as rare as it is beautiful and deadly. And indestructible, because its roots grow so deep that they are nourished in the Dark Realm. Or so the legend goes. The same legend also says that this deadly beauty only blooms where a witch's blood has been split in violence. Or where her body lays buried after a violent death. And if you know how to sing it right, it will tell you whose blood nourishes it's growth. Or at least that's what they say. It should have been nothing more then a dark little fairy tale about an exceptionally beautiful and poisonous flower. Yet the Blood are noticing that there are more places where the witchblood grows. Is it nothing more then the way of nature? Or something more that will cause those deadly flowers to bloom? No one knows, but the Blood must find out the truth. By the time the Witchblood blooms...4s
